Position Description:

• Inspire hope in individuals through community-based 1:1 peer support
• Your job is designed to promote empowerment and self-determination
• Building trust through your lived experience and offering tools to help others achieve growth

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of and experience in the recovery process from having a mental health diagnosis and having reached a point in your recovery pathway where you can positively support others in similar situations
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older
• Have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (preferred)
• Has completed a peer specialist certification training curriculum approved by the state Of Pennsylvania
• Criminal History Clearances – PA State Police Clearance, Child Abuse, FBI
