The mission and vision of the Pennsylvania Peer Support Coalition were established by its Board of Directors to give our organization a sense of purpose and direction. Over the years they have served as a guide and provided focus to those charged with running the organization.

Mission

To support peer-based professions, by offering continuing education, networking opportunities, and advocacy around the development of relevant statewide policies in an effort to promote quality services and strengthen the overall profession.

Vision

The Pennsylvania Peer Support Coalition envisions a day when access to various forms of peer-based support are accessible at all levels throughout the persons individual recovery journey.

Values

Our values guide our actions, behaviors, and decision making as an organization that are outlined in our mission and vision.  These core values are: Empowerment, Advocacy, and Empathy.
