2020 PaPSC Conference

Conference Cancelled

It is with a heavy heart that I write this. The Pennsylvania Peer Support Coalition has made the very difficult decision to cancel our 2020 State-Wide Conference. In consideration of everyone’s health, safety, and finances, as well as in consultation with the state and conference venue it became increasingly clear that holding an in-person conference was not going to be possible this year. While we know there are a number of individuals who would have felt comfortable attending an in-person gathering, the planning committee ultimately decided that we, in good conscience, could not risk the health of the amazing peer professionals serving Pennsylvania. We are erring on the side of caution in order to protect everyone’s safety.

It was also decided that we, at this time, do not have the necessary resources to successfully deliver a virtual conference experience that would meet the very high expectations and standards we have set for ourselves and you have come to expect from our organization. Instead our plan is to focus our attention and resources on planning the best conference possible for June of 2021.

October 15 is Global Peer Support Celebration day. While we may not be able to hold our conference this year, we will be planning something for October 15 so that we can join the worldwide celebration of peer professionals. More details will follow.

Please remember that the PaPSC exists to represent the interests of all peer professionals in Pennsylvania and to support you in any way that we can. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out through email at info@papsc.org or by phone at 717-719-0746 or 717-719-0739.

If you were registered to attend the conference, we will be issuing refund checks, so please keep an eye on the mail for those.
